The proposal was made when the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and several other Muslim and Arab-American groups met Thursday, January 13, with top State Department officials to discuss a number of issues related to American foreign policy, according to CAIRs Web site. To give these State Department officials credit, they were mugged. They were invited to a discussion and then used for propaganda purposes.
But I wouldn't give them a whole lot of credit. The officials named are all pretty senior, and certainly should have known better. If you attend a meeting at the invitation of people like Goebbels and Himmler, you are going to take a propaganda mugging. So, as many freepers have already suggested, DON'T GO.

Having spent two and a half years in the middle east, I can say that I have never met a Muslim I could trust. They have profiled themselves with their actions. All the terrorist I have seen or have been identified have been Muslims, so what do they expect, we should profile Japanese?

Sorry but your comment on the Crusades is BS. There hatred of infidels goes all the way back to Abraham and Esau. There one goal in life is to convert or kill all nonbelievers if they don't convert.

Again. Phobia is an irrational fear.I propose to make an arguably grisly photo collection displaying every act of Islamist butchery, beginning with the Achille Lauro and dare anyone to call me Islamophobic. Just as Germans had to be rounded up and force marched into a concentration camp to confront the evil which had been done in their name, so with the Islamists. Of course, Germans had a cultural and spiritual base that enabled them to recognize the enormity of their acts. I doubt the same is true of Islamists. Anti-Islamic sentiment is real and it is THEIR PROBLEM TO FIX. It is not fear that we feel, but disgust. Let them misunderstand us to their detriment.

Why not build CAIR and company a nice campus setting -- yeah! that's what we'll call it. Someplace quiet and far from islamophobes. Someplace remote, really remote.

We know Muslims have hated everyone since Muhammad did his first hostile regime change in Mecca and began insisting the city's patron diety was the one true god.
Binny was always going on and on about the Crusades, and calling is evil Western infidels "Crusaders". His underlings in al Jazeera and CNN parroted the dogma. Until more and more of us began pointing out that A: the Crusades were hundred of years ago and NONE of us were alive then, including Binny and that B: Islam, being about 1,400 years old is about at the developmental stage that Christianity was during the Crusades which makes Islamakazis C: Crusaders.
While it caused the Crusader rhetoric to be toned down a bit, the memory still rankles some people

How can you be 'inclusive' with people whose philosophy makes murder acceptable.

I don't have a fear of Islam. I have a dislike of Islam. That's very Christian of you. However I, not being such a good Christian as you, hate them and want to see their utter destruction.

Well, I do admit that I have phobias concerning the Islamic terrorists. For example, I have a phobia about getting my head cut off, being blown up by a roadside bomb, or buried to my neck in dirt and stoned to death. I guess I'll have to work on that.

How can you be 'inclusive' with people whose philosophy makes murder acceptable. And those Muslims who leave the face or blaspheme it (see Salman Rushdie) are subject to a death sentance.

Not all Muslims are terrorists, but almost all terrorists are Muslim.
