Six Israeli civilians murdered and five wounded in a bombing and shooting attack of three terrorists at the Karni goods crossing, in the northern Gaza Strip.
Last night December 13, 2005, shortly before closing the crossing, the hours of which had recently been extended in the framework of the easing of restrictions for the Palestinian population, terrorists activated an explosive device which was placed next to the door on the Palestinian side of the crossing. The detonation blew a hole in the door from which the Palestinian terrorists were able to infiltrate the Israeli side of the crossing and open fire at several Israeli civilians. As a result of the explosion and during exchanges of fire which evolved at the scene six Israeli civilians and three Palestinian terrorists were killed. Additionally, five Israeli civilians were wounded: two severely, one moderately and two lightly. During the evacuation of the wounded the Palestinians fired an apparent mortar shell which landed near Karni crossing.
The circumstances of the incident are still being investigated.
It should be noted that recently Palestinian gunmen have purposely targeted crossings meant for the Palestinian population such as the attacks at the "Erez" crossing and the workers crossing near the community of Ganey- Tal last week. Furthermore, on December 12, 2004, Palestinian gunmen detonated a tunnel rigged with explosives under a military post near the Rafah crossing, along the Israeli- Egyptian border, in which five IDF soldiers were killed. Following the attack the Rafah crossing was closed and since than there is no passage of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip to Egypt and vice versa.
Perhaps the Arab world would send them medications, food and let them work at their countries instead of Israel.
But wait, the Arab world doesnt want to.
Religion of peace, what a load of crap. Islam is a murdering bunch of women and children killers. Maybe Sharon will unload a terrible fury against the raghead scum.
