78% (Dixie). That is a pretty strong Southern score!
I'm shocked!!! I live in VA, originally from NC with roots in TN on my Mom's side, and only a 78%?
Shows you what 20 years in the Navy around all those Yankees did to me.

I'd weigh 800 lbs if I lived in the south. That tea is so hard to turn down. Good stuff.
And the pralines I had in Atlanta once were enough to make you cry. We don't get that stuff up here.

If it makes you feel better, I only scored a 71%. Seems travelling in my early life has had a lasting effect upon me.

I went back again and took it again choosing even more eastern and northern phrases on some and I got 39%. Strange.
The first time most all of them were dead on where I grew up. Wisconsin Great Lakes region
I also noticed that they apparently only have drive through liquor stores in the south. :o)

Got you beat. 10th generation North Carolinian. Family's been in Carteret County since the 1720's.
Sadly, I now live in VA.

I got 53% Dixie which is interesting because I'm born and raised in Western New York. Now if they'd asked about roof, milk, greasy or wafffle, we might have gotten different scores.

NOW what, I say WHAT is goin' on hyah?
I'm barely over 50 percent . . . and my last Yankee ancestor moved south in 1820. I've got more Confederate ancestors than Carter has little liver pills . . .

This test is inaccurate.
10 of my responses were not regionally specific
6 were decidedly northern (Great Lakes, Northeast, Penns., etc)
Only 4 were distictly Southern.
Yet it called me 61% Dixie. (Not that there's anything wrong with that.)

Yahoo! 61% Dixie. Not bad for a guy born in Western Washington. But 2 generations back my family was 100% Arkansas country boys. Some of it must still be in my blood.
