This was murder.
I had to post this as I was so angry when I saw it. All the kid needed was a good home and some love and they poison him.

I have heard it said there is a special place in heaven for little children like this poor child and a special place in hell for the killers. God Almighty please help us.

Man that was a tortured read! The Brits could take some lessons in writing if this is any example.
Re: The story - I suppose they got manslaughter because the exact cause of death was not determined and murder couldn't be proved. In any event, another black eye for "Gay" adoption. /joke

It's seems to me they wanted a perfect child for their perfect lives. When Christian was not perfect they punished him. I sure would love to see their psychological and social history interviews. I am sure there were signs.

I agree....although I doubt they planned on killing him, it was an unforseen consequence. That said, they should have returned the child immediately. The adoption agency dropped the ball too....if the man called and "demanded" what was wrong with the child, they should have seen the red flag. What kind of person expects a 3yo to "instantly" adjust and warm up to strangers?

I read more on this. The kid died from a head injury and salt poisoning.

They should have just done this 3 years earlier.
Then it would have been legal, i.e., a saline abortion.

Isn't this just the newest medical technique in family planning: the retroactive abortion?
I guess they lost the receipt and so couldn't return him for a refund.

If the adoptive couple were poor or of modest means, they'd be in jail for life. Money whitewashed this murder.

The articles here all represent bigotry.
The child was ill.
The symptoms are typical and diagnostic of diabetes insipidus.
Look it up and be humble. We should be campaigning for the release of these innocents rather than vilifying them.
