I just heard that Indonesia does not want any foreign military on their soil and requires that we pull out by March. Why wait? Why continue our aid efforts at all? Ingrates.

I know I'm late to this thread, but this is something that has bothered me since I read it this morning. I totally agree.
We're putting the concerns of Indonesian officials above the lives of our military men & women?
Personally, I don't go anywhere unarmed!!! Why should our military? If they don't like our troops armed with weapons, let someone else feed them....they can send their people out to distribute food.. they care more about the issues than feeding and taking care of victims......goes to show where their real values are...it's truly sad.
