You're clearly talking about your big labor, protectionist, anti-capitalist, socialist agenda. Because as far as I can see, the agenda for free trade, global competition and open borders consistently wins at the 'national' ballot box, whether during the Clinton era or the Bush era.

Newsflash, dude: capitalism is great, everyone knows this. But there are ways to use capitalism to our advantage, and the simplest is restricting the supply of labor. This causes wages to go up as per basic laws of supply and demand. If this doesn't happen then everything we know about economics is a dirty lie.
