Why must all immigration talk center on Mexicans? They're only one country among many, and yet Bush wants to allow millions of them in, but not millions of more desirable skilled workers from other countries.
Why are we not hearing more about the effect all this illegal immigration is having on the Black population? They're the main ones affected, since it's the unskilled jobs they used to perform that are being taken by illegals who will work for less.
Another question: Where I live (Washington State) it's darned near impossible to our teenagers to even get burger flipper jobs. My kids picked berries and fruit, and did work at waitresses, dishwashers, janitors, pumped gas, and cleaned hotel rooms, etc., but there's not a white or Black kid doing those jobs these days, only Mexicans.
Finally, and this is a real practical question, once we've eliminated all the Blue Collar jobs in this country, either by exporting the jobs or importing the illegal labor, is our entire Blue Collar class to all go on welfare? What other option do they have, robbing banks? It's not like we don't have an unskilled labor force of our own, the schools have seen to that. What are these (our own) people to do for a livelihood? Are they not to be allowed to have the American Dream, just so some Mexican can have it instead?
The illegal aliens in California have most of the entry level jobs too. They also are taking construction jobs and every other kind of blue collar job by working for cash. I'm sick of people saying that they're only doing jobs Americans won't do. The open borders lobby thinks that if they say it over and over, people will start to believe it. People don't believe it. People are sick of paying the bills.
The resentment is growing towards the President who is allowing this invasion.
