"I do like Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre though "

(quoting myself!!)

By that, I mean all of their stuff made before 1995, before they wussed out and stopped Def Row Records. Snoop is a mainstream wuss these days.

He doesn't even know when to add the fabric softener...

Around here in the summertime one of our favorite pasttimes is BBQ's (yeah, people in Upstate NY have BBQ parties). A lot of times people want our band to come along and play a set or something, even if it's only with a couple of acoustic guitars.

I never cease to be amazed at the reaction we get when we bust out a rockin country version of "Gin And Juice". The Austin TX band The Gourds did a really good hillbilly version of it, we kind of take it to the next level.

"Later on that day
My homey Dr. Dre
came by with a gang of Tanqueray
And a fat ass J,
of some bubonic chronic you know it made me choke
I had to back up off of it, this ain't no joke
I had to sit my cup of gin down

Yeah, Tanqueray and chronic, yes I'm f****d up now!!!"
