"We're capable of making these decisions for ourselves, and if anything, I think these "culture warriors" are one reason why Democrats have an edge with voters under 30. We're all too easily seen as the ones who want to remove their favorite singers and shows from the air. We're the fuddy-duddies.

Well, there is that. If the only people who voted for President Bush were from the Christian Right, we'd now have JFK in the White House. That seems forgotten now that Bush is in his second term. Now we get the "purity" party line from these folks and some of their true agenda appears.
Thanks to them for voting for Bush. No thanks for trying to impose a particular sectarian view of the world on everyone. If they're successful in co-opting the GOP, then we'll be back to a Democrat-controlled Congress and White House again.
