Here is the same pic flipped. The U.S. Air Force tag is backwards and on the wrong side of the uniform.

Don't men's shirts button the other way? It appears that the original posted photo is a true image and the dummy actually did salute with the wrong hand.

You are right. The zipper on kerry's jacket tells the tale. The original posted photo does seem to be correct.
