I don't believe that Putin is as big of an anti-Semite as some people (mostly those who live outside of Russia) make him out to be. Jews in the former Soviet Union enjoy more religious freedom and protection than at any other time in history.
I can get my reports of Jewish life in Russia from my family who live there and not from Israeli media outlets.
