Oh dear.
I didn't read the full article, but once again I'm very glad that my children are grown and that my step-grandchildren are not exposed to television.
We have a couple gay friends, and a number of our neighbors are gay. One guy I really like; a couple of others I don't. Does that mean that I'm a tolerant bigot?
There are a lot of problems with No Child Left Behind, but one of the advantages is that teachers have so little time to do more than teach reading and math and then test, test, test. Teachers are going to politely stuff this stuff in a file and keep testing math. In some districts there is not even time for social studies or science, let alone lefty indoctrination.
I didn't see any mention of Mr. Hanky.
"Pledging respect" for the homosexual lifestyle? An actual "pledge" to respect them? It's unbelievable... What they are doing here is they are trying to brainwash kids when they are young. Form thier opinions for them in total disregard for what kind of home they may come from. Perhaps a home where values are taught. And here they are - the village - forcing tolerance for an unusual lifestyle down the kids' throats.

Hmmm.... I don't remember posting that in 1952, but time travel does cause you to become forgetful.
All children successfully passing the 'Diversity' module will receive a certificate of good citizenship and a coupons good for Disney merchandise and 'heart healthy' Happy Meals at local fast-food franchises.
Advanced curriculum includes rewards such as Community Happiness Meals(TM) with 'Good Sex Toyz'(TM) and 'Secret Friends'(TM) ID badges awarded when students return forms detailing the behavior and attitudes of their parents.
Exactly. The left has known this for years. That is why they went for control of Hollywood decades ago. Now they own it.
Just more of the same homosexual agenda to indoctrinate children into believing the homosexual lifestyle is not only morally acceptable, but desirable. If we could get the Dept. of Education abolished, that would be a start. I wonder if parents really have a clue as to what goes on in public schools?
A pro-homosexual campaign? Can anyone conceive of Children's TV having an anti-homosexual campaign? Right off the bat that says that we're not dealing with issues of Diversity nor Tolerance. Only one side is thinkable. The other side (the moral side) has become a thought crime.
I'm sorry.
The Wayback Machine went bzonKnZAP! mit der wrench gizmo, and that caused the lamp to fall over, and that caused ... (including the small matters of how much I need sleep, exercise, rest ... I need a vacation!).
When I read articles such as this and then try to share it with other parents or church members, they look at me like I am an alien......
"That makes me a sad panda."
Kids take a pledge to accept homosexuals as "normal and healthy", yet the words "under God" can't be said in the Pledge of Alliagence.
The two events are not, I'm sure, unrelated.
Ah, the 10% of the population is homosexual myth . The Gay Rights crowd continues to push the Kinsey study number, in spite of the fact that it has been thoroughly debunked. The real number (according to the more recent and more scientific University of Chicago study) is less than 1%. The difference, an order of magnitude, is particularly significant because it affects their status as a "significant minority", also plays into the "it's not unusual or a defect" strategy.
