Does anyone have the quotes that Mel Gibson apparently made after receiving his People's Choice Award in saying he felt a "kinship" with Michael Moore and attacking the war in Iraq?
It's too bad that your faith and "vision" are so fragile that they can't withstand 2 hours of a flickering light on a wall.
How can you "boycott" someone for something so unimportant as agreeing with a person of a different political persuasion? I understand your point, but it's not that simple. I once worked in a state legislature and constituents would come in and say to me that, since the legislator voted the "wrong" way on a single issue, they weren't going to vote for him anymore. Say what??
Mel Gibson is extremely conservative. To be against the war, however, does not mean he's liberal. He looks at war in a "life" context - the importance of not taking life, at all costs. Additionally, agreeing with Michael Moore does not make him liberal either. There are, though I don't know if people would admit to it, many who agree with ideas that are both conservative and liberal at times. It's only natural. And frankly, it's also honest.
pretty good since he was 12 when his family moved to Australia
