An open board like this is different than talking to someone one-on-one. In a one-on-one case, your efforts are only for that particular person. But, on a board like this, there are many readers.
Who knows what those other readers are like and what they are thinking? Many are not posting, but only reading. I'm sure all comments are getting wide distribution here on Free Republic.
If I weren't posting here, with these things..., I might be doing something much less productive, like sleeping or eating... :-)
