My parents raised my brother and I to make our own decisions. They gave us as much responsiblity as we could handle. There were, of course, right by our side if we needed help, but they wanted us to make mature reasoned decisions.

By the time we were 16 we had made some doozies so both of us had some rudimentary reasoning skills by that age...

My Mom was a very wise women, I told her I was getting married when I was 15, she told me that was fine if that was my decision....but I had to remember that if I went thru with it, not to expect to come home after the first fight......the door wouldn't be open.....that was an eye opener.......AZ 58*.......it cool.
