I didn't read any further than this:

like Keyes or Barr or Klayman or Hackworth -- who make use of their popularity to mention the Truth

Are you SERIOUSLY comparing Ann Coulter to Larry Klayman, Hackworthless, etc?

Now that is just plain bizarre.

Well, only in that they were once darlings of the "right" in general (and this site in particular) until the Executive Branch changed hands. By remaining consistent in their attention to issues of gross corruption or excess in the government, they were suddenly pariahs.

It's perfectly understandable.

The great thing about Coulter being that she's not hampered by any consistency of thought so is better able to go with the flow and stick to those subjects where she can score the most points as an entertainer.

I think she herself would admit she's no Phyllis Schlafley ... even if, in a way, her admiration for the Real Deal like Phyliss is precisely what catapulted her into the niche she now occupies.

Folks like Phyllis Schlafley don't end up as popular as Ann Coulter.

Ann made her choice and only Ann truly knows how off the mark she's ended up.

I think the only one missing from that list is Scott Ritter.
