Trial balloon has been floated. Waiting for focus groups to tell her what to do next. Typical Dem - take a stand and be counted

When the recall rules were put into effect, direct election of senators was not a reality, predating the 17th Amendment by just a couple years. Hmm.. Time to go dig into the California Code (Ugh, I hate that thing.)

Howlin' Mad Murdock

Why you insulting Howling Mad, Dwight Schulz IMHO, is one of the great character actors of our time, give him a role and he will turn it into a tour de force.

I get emails from Kerry and the DNC.

The DNC email today talks about Social Security reform and the evil Republicans trying to cheat the "old people."

Kerry's email on the other hand says he'll be "out of town" on the 6th and won't be standing with those contesting the Ohio electorate because his lawyers didn't see any reason to. (must be hard for the Dems to swallow the fact that Kerry is exactly what the Swifties accused him of being,,,a turn tail.)

So nice to see Boxer has the Dems behind her actions (end/sarcasm)

To: Always Right; PJ-Comix

So what happens is Congree will discuss voter irregularities and then vote later in the day confirming the Electoral College results and Boxer will look her regular foolish self.

DUmmies will be on their roller coaster ride to suicide and PJ-Comix will have the BEST... DUFU... EVER!

Too bad Boxer JUST got re-elected. She can count on Californians to forget about this over the next 6 years.

Maybe she's finally convinced that she can't do ANYTHING insane and shameful and outrageous enough to lose her seat in California.

She may not lose her seat, but she paints all dems as clowns and it ends up hurting some dem somewhere that's skating on thin ice, just like it has for the last 10 years. Boxer would do well to look around and see that Congress ain't getting any bluer and ask herself 'why?'. These clowns never learn.

Goodness, they aren't really going to be here are they?

They better not tie up traffic. I'm not sure if I can resist temptation

Woohoo!!! 60 Senate seats in 2006!!!

Hammer it home boys, hammer it home. The Left is far too unstable, to extreme, poor losers, partisan tactics at ever turn.

Boxer is looking for TV face time. She has been off the tube for a while. Wants people to remember she is still in the Senate, just in case someone forgot her worthless ass.

Something tells me there is more to this than meets the eye. This isn't about Ohio. IMHO this is about Gonzalez and the Supreme Court.

The RATS are testing to see how far they can go. Problem is McCain and the RINOS are going to support the RATS since the FEC soft money debacle.

I think what you're calling for would require the sequential ignition of far too many functional brain-cells.

Exactly.

The ems saw their tactics work in Washington State and now want to steal the National Election.

If they try it there will be serious trouble - for THEM.

Barbara Boxer: What can I say? Not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

I think you put your finger on something.

It isn't that the Democrats are becoming more foolish, it's that the really bright Democrats (with the exception of The Beast and her fellatious Sinkmeister, and their immediate circle -- people like Bob Rubin, Begala, Carville, Vernon Jordan) have found the lifeboats and are off doing something else.

This isn't all gravy for the Pubbies. With power, you get an inrush of pragmatic -- okay, cynical -- power junkies who will support anyone and eat Vienna sausage and beanie-weenie for years just to get close to power. Ralph Nader is a perfect example of the type: lives like a monk, lives for his issues, lives for influence. He's a good example of extreme asceticism in power-seeking.

The Southern Poverty Law Center is an example of power junkies in decay: they have their little sinecure, and now they comport themselves in their personal lives like the emperor Commodus, as wastrels and sybarites. The 'Rats can keep them -- and Nader, too.

But watch out for RiNO's -- we've got a bunch of them in state government already, in Texas.

It doesn't matter, we should take her nuttiness and coat the DNC with a broad swath.

Please explain to me why electing a Rino is better than electing a democrat.

Yeah, right. We in California would have been so much better electing La Raza's candidate instead of Arnold.

The only thing that could be better is if Terry McAwful stays on as DNC chairman.

It won't matter for her, but Frist better get his butt back to town and be the "leader".

Naaahhhh...Just put in a call to Reids office, and say, "If she does as reported, we will take 10% of your funding. Instead of 66/33, we'll go 76/23. I have the votes, she doesn't."
