But they will have to find a man to drive them to the polls...

I'll be stunned if it really happens.

Well, now the next step is to get the right to drive before 2009...

"women would be allowed to vote in 2009. "
In a related story, hell is predicted to freeze over and monkeys will be flying out of Blzbba's ass in 2009.

In addition to letting them drive or otherwise have access to the polls, they need to teach them how lie convincingly to their male relatives.
Since it perfectly okay for a man to beat a woman for disobedience, and since it would be disobedient to vote for a candidate other than the male's choice, these women need new social skills. Deception is going to be big.

If it happens...BIG IF...,it would be a very good first step toward representative government. They need a western model such as Britain concerning their monarchy. I certainly don't consider them allies because they continue to export their extreme form of Islam to the rest of the world. They will either change peacefully, or we will change things for them in the future. How many of the 9/11 attackers were Saudi? The mess tent attack was by a Saudi medical student whose father is a Saudi Diplomat, and aren't we finding many of the terrorists in Iraq are from Saudi Arabia. How are the terrorists getting across the Saudi border without being stopped by Saudi Forces? As Clint Eastwood would say, "do ya feel lucky kid...well do ya?".

2009....The beginning of the end of Saudi Arabia. What's next? They get to show their faces in public? Geezzz.

I can just see the ballot:
Choice #1 - Refer to my husband's ballot and I choose the same.
Choice #2 - Torture me and kill my family.
Just like the Iraqi ballot under Saddam when he won 100% of the vote. What a popular guy.
And they probably don't drive because it's difficult to get up on a camel while wearing a burka.
What amazes me is how the feminists cry that Christianity puts women in a subservient role.
