Mike Adams is great tells it like it is......
good one
Brilliant.
Do you actually want me to believe that a college professor with tenure could have such a clear grasp on reality?
I read the whole article. Helllloooo Reality! Great for parents too.
In the 'real' world, students getting the special need vouchers, will get one point up on the final grade. God knows we don't want to hurt the feelings of such great students. A person can take the article and just turn it 180 degrees and that's the way it 'really happens' in the classroom setting.
Great article, but it's written under the premise that socialism is causing great harm to our nation. That concept would never fly at most liberal colleges and universities. Explaining this policy to students would leave them slack-jawed and incredulous at first, then would have them running to the dean's office with mommy, daddy, and their troop of lawyers.
I used lame excuses like this all the time when I was in college. The actual reasons that I needed to reschedule tests, labs, etc, was because I was in the National Guard and had to go to the National Training Center during finals week, deploy to Bosnia during the summer session and was acting commander for a mobilization associated with homeland security in the middle of another semester. I didn't dare tell my professors that I was in the military, so I used the same excuses that the other boobs used - plane tickets, sick grandma, car broke down, and so on.
I doubt that my professors would have been as forgiving to me, if I told them that I needed to go to the National Training Center during the final exam, so that I could train to kill people with my fellow infantrymen. In hindsight, lying was the wrong thing to do, but I don't lose any sleep over it.
