#6 feels a lot more like "How many pets do I want to feed without cramping MY LIFE?"
I cannot believe this actually happened. This woman has no conscience. She is beneath contempt. Every mother whether that mother be a wild animal or a tiny insect would not make such a choice.

You'd be surprised how popular SR (selective reduction) has become. Especially among the assisted fertility crowd. Some women "put back" (are inseminated with) 3/4/5/6 embryos, then cry when they find out they are pregnant with multiples.
Search "selective reduction", and you'll probably easily find the support boards for this procedure. The women always proclaim what a "hard choice" it was, but that it was the RIGHT DECISION, similar to the twisted logic of Ann Richards. Sadly, some even reduce from simple twins to singletons because they don't want their lifestyle interrupted. The worst is when the doctor does a test prior to the procedure (usually cvs)- to find out what gender the babies are so the parents can decide if they want to keep the little boy or the little girl. Beyond horrible.
