I do put people who make a decision not to have children due to a genetic issue (Huntington's or other genetic issue) in a different category than the whiney ME ME ME ME types.

And your points about this article being a part of the homosexual agenda (especially the push to paint them as something of a "normal alternative") are excellent. I hadn't thought of that angle.
