Hmm.
4.0 Not gonna feel it.
Damn, Not strong enough to shake CA off into the Pacific.
We really don't want that. It would take Orange County, the Navy base in San Diego, NAS North Island, Gator Navy/SEALs in Coronado as well as Camp Pendleton with it. We need a new fault line to look forward to.
Nope. Not at all. If anything worldwide quakes are below normal.
However, the frequency of every little quake all over the world getting a FR thread is increasing.
I was stationed in San Diego 3x during my 20 years in the US Navy!
Well the good news is there are less quakes which brings on the bad news, the pressure is building somewhere.
This is newsworthy why?

The above link will give you the USGS world map of current earthquakes for the Pacific Rim - or all the countries which border the Pacific Ocean. As you can see by looking at the map - the Pacific Rim has been very busy this year.

Never did San Diego, but my son is there now. I did a few weeks in Coronado. :)
As it's been busy for tens of millions of years.
It's a continuation of the Pacific Rim earthquakes - over 200 this year.
If you don't think it's news, then why did you click on the link ..??
More than you want to know about earthquakes.

You seem to be under the mistaken impression there's anything remotely unusual about over 200 Pacific Rim earthquakes.
A click of your mouse is all you need to get past it. Why take the time to comment if it bugs you so?
I personally want to know how much should I fill my bath tub, just in case.
Didn't feel it in Southwest Arizona --
