Of course the medical establishment of magic pill magicians and scalpel wielding warrior want nothing to do with preventative medicine . . .

Actually US health care costs are out of control because of alleopathic physicians who give their patients with borderline high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and relatively minor off and on psychiatric ills expensive lifetime drugs requiring periodic monitoring and blood tests. All that is preventive medicine. I have mixed feeling about the allopathic docs doing this. However, as for preventive spinal manipulations, each one of which has a risk of stroke, that is quite a poor idea. Preventive medicine conducted by a chiropractor is a disgraceful attempt to rake in more fees.

It's all interesting and I'll wager one US dollar that conspiracies go beyond just the theory stage when it comes to medicine. I'll continue to stick to Faith because God hasn't let me down and we weren't promised a garden of roses as the method to eventually meet Him (we'll still have to suffer death).

What I find fascinating still is that accupuncture and chiropractics do have successes as well as the more accepted Western medical practices. Mankind just doesn't know enough to be an authority. The humor is that many medical backgrounds pretend to be that authority to deride their competitors. The patient is the one that continues to suffer for their pride.
