Chiropractice is an amazing scam, little more than a bunch of charlatans involved in organized crime with the unregulated US lawyer industry to endlessly scam workers comp, no-fault, phony slip and fall, and the rest of the festering toilet of the American litigation business.
I once toured a "Chiropractic College"... There was no library (or any need for one).

I have a friend who is a surgeon and he loved them. They keep the "unsick" out of the doctor's offices and most can fix a variety of problems with simple solutions.

My father was scammed by a DO (doctor of osteopathy) which is not a lot different from a chiropractor. He kept my dad is his "hospital" for 2 months and gave him whirlpool baths to treat 2 ruptured discs. I finally had to call an ambulance and have him taken to a real doctor for surgery. The other guy would have kept him there and sucked on his insurance and Medicare until they cut him off. Then he would have kicked him out on the street.
