I was going to ask the same thing. People get in legal trouble for contributing to a number of terrorist "charities"--so how come these folks get away with this?

"I don't know of any other case in history in which the parents of fallen soldiers collected medicine ... for the families of the 'other side'," said Medea Benjamin, the founding director of Global Exchange, a human rights group."

From Article III, Section 3 of the United States Constitution:

Clause 1: Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.

Clause 2: The Congress shall have Power to declare the Punishment of Treason, but no Attainder of Treason shall work Corruption of Blood, or Forfeiture except during the Life of the Person attainted.

*********************************************************

Yep, it's a clear-cut case of treason, and Benjamin clearly incriminates herself and her organization by baldly bragging about it to Agence France Press. As Clause 2 states, Congress has the power to punish traitors to America and therefore our Representatives and Senators should most definitely be strongly prevailed upon to go after these individuals and their backers. I have a good buddy in the 276th Engineering Battalion, Virginia National Guard who had just walked out of the mess tent at Camp Marez in Mosul when that homicide bomber struck two week ago. He's O.K. but two members of his unit were killed and another wounded. It galls me severely that "Code Pink" and other such organizations are directly aiding those terrorists who are trying to kill our servicemen and women in Iraq without any consequences here at home other than negative publicity. During World War II, the Roosevelt Administration would have shut down "Code Pink" and hauled away all of its members to prison without any hesitation or apology. I think it's high time that the hammer should drop on these self-hating cretins...
