The twelve-month calendar, universal in the old world at the time ofMuhammad, was actually a Babylonian invention. The Babylonian is not a lunarcalendar. The Arabic lunar calendar has twelve months, but is eleven daysshort of a complete solar cycle. This verse, 9:36, is actually anumerologically coded reference to the Maya long count and prophecy of theTelektonon. The twelve actually refers to the Law of the Cube which is Allah'scommand ordained for the creation of the Heaven and the Earth.
