I used to be a rabid DX (shortwave radio) geek--kind of the retarded smaller brother of Ham radio enthusiasts. At least that how I saw it.

Many Ham Radio operators (myself included) are also shortwave radio geeks, and many of the shortwave radio geeks came into the hobby of Ham Radio itself because of shortwave radio.

I used to be a rabid DX (shortwave radio) geek--kind of the retarded smaller brother of Ham radio enthusiastsSame here, I guess now having streaming audio from the Internet does tend to take the "sport" out of listening to foreign broadcasters nowadays. But I still have my Radio Shack DX-370 handy, and every once in awhile when I have a little free time, I will do a little scanning to see what's out there.
