Knitting, you said "I wish there were more I can do but spread the word and pray."

Believe me I know how you feel ! All I can do is send emails, make some phone calls and stay in the search engines for updates/anything that might help Terri. Most of what I do though is a lot of praying. At times I get so maddd I have to walk away from this pc. The madder I get,.. the more I pray. (if that makes any sense)

Oh, I know!

She is a symbol of all the wrong. She's not alone - but she's the one that got the spotlight to teach us what evil we are doing to ourselves.

Let us remember all the other Terris out there who don't have a set of parents willing to work as hard for the lives of their injured ones, or whose family thinks they are doing the kind deed, or who just want to be rid of the burden, or who don't have anyone to speak for them.

As you do to the least of these, Jesus said...and people in Terri's position are so vunerable...

O Lord,
sometimes, I wonder why
you don't wipe us away
as a failed experiment,
with so much darkness in our hearts,
and yet,
you reach out,
again and again
with that loving hand
that tells us
we are precious in your sight.

Give us the strength
to stand up against the darkness,
to share in others griefs
to be moved by the frustration and sorrow
to do the right thing,
the good thing
the think which you would have us to do,
this day and always,
Amen.
