The first figure I saw was 15, but since I am a DoD employee, I am also aware of the "uncounted" costs associated with our relief efforts. I'm not expecting a reply, but if I do, I'll share it here.
We are sending assessment teams to see which countries need what and where to distribute wisely...There are private agencies getting the medical emergency relief underway,too...This will end up being a gigantic relief effort.
