Theresa Heinz Kerry failed in her bid to become First Lady, but she's not giving up on buying her way into political power. "The word in Pennsylvania is that Kerry and other family members are pressing her son Chris Heinz to run for a House of Representatives Seat," says Washingtonian Magazine.

Spend it all Mrs. Howell.
I know how she feels. I have friends who's 35 year old son still lives with them.
I read the title incorrectly and thought that *she* was running for the seat. That would be a FUN race to watch, lol!
Yippee...
Who knows? His first legislation would be a portrait of her (Terreza) in the halls of Congress, and his second would be to have the carpets in the House of Representatives the color of ketchup red.
Might as well just cut New England off the U.S. and set it adrift -- all it's money can only produce FAR-LEFT SOCIALISTS. Just what we do not need -- the old money in New England goes way back which supported FDR, the daddy of Socialism in America (including the creation of the income tax).
NO THANKS!!!
More democratic style over substance. No word in the article on his experience. Does he have any and does that even matter?
"Chris Heinz is attractive and photogenic"
Well so is Brad Pitt but that doesn't mean he should run for any political office.
Of course, the son should represent the Republican Party just like his FATHER.
Chris Heinz would run as a Democrat. He said he was raised Republican, but became liberal in college, after his father's death.
Which means he's stuck with his association with Terayza and John Kerry, rather than the one that might actually benefit him in PA (John Heinz was a popular and respected Senator, particularly in Western PA).
He is not attractive. He needs to wash the grease out of his hair, shave, and figure out how to dress like a professional.

It's all in the name my friend, all in the name!
"Fund raising should not be a problem" - MOMMY?
That's what I was thinking. BUT there is a 2nd choice without taking on a sitting Democrat - Tim Murphy in the 18th District. When I went to vote, Hart who was my Rep. was not on my ballot. They redrew the district lines, split up my rural township in Beaver Co., and I am now in Murphy's district. I know nothing about him except that he is a Republican. I'm not even sure what else comprises the 18th District or who used to represent it, etc.
