Why this option is even up for debate is beyond me. It should be the first thing on the agenda once the newly-elected Congress convenes.

David, you are stating much the same stuff I've stated on Free Republic.

However, many who frequent the site can't understand our position.

A good idea whose time will never come. Filibustering of judges will outlive Republican "control" of the Senate.

Democrats favor majority rule only when they are the majority. Otherwise they practice a scorched earth policy. If the tables were turned they wouldn't bat an eye about changing the rules, all the while blaming it on the mean Republicans.
