Be honest, some days don't you wish Jim would let us use profanity?

Some days, he does. This might be one of those days, especially if this story can be confirmed.

UN Says Cost of Tsunami Disaster Without Precedent

A massive appeal for aid is to be launched in the next few days. Mr. Egeland expressed concern, however, that several rich donor countries are becoming less generous, even as needs continue to grow.

"We were more generous when we were less rich -- many of the rich countries. It is beyond me why we are so stingy. Actually foreign assistance for many countries now is 0.1 or 0.2 percent of gross national income, that is stingy."

Might be the day he uses it himself.

What a bunch of crap. If we get involved, we are taking over the world, going for the oil, etc. If we don't, we're "stingy". Fortunately, I'm an accountant, and Ladies and Gentlemen....it is cheaper to be stingy. Now, if we can just get past that nasty code of ethics thing the Prez has going for him, we'd be on Easy Street.....

Just came out of a chat room that would have made you vomit on your keyboard, shoes, floor and more...chatters saying how blessed the USA is and its our "duty" to give to those less fortunate.
BUT other nations should not be expected to reciprocate if the United States suffers a major catastrophe.
