Sort of like the Bay of Pigs attempted Liberators?
Or the Shia resistance to Saddamn in Southern Iraq towards the end of GW#1(?)?
Wouldn't want to "offend" anyone, now would we?
I'm actually surprised that we provided air cover for the Kurds up North in order to keep SH from exterminating them, too.
Over the past 40 years or so the US has to some extent been rather in the habit of abandoning those who trust our Nation to liberate them from persecution, oppression, or bondage.
And the victim people's complicity with us towards that end has cost them dearly after we almost routinely betray their trust and abandon them to a ferocious and ruthless enemy.
Any wonder why it's taken so long for the "free" Afghans and Iraqis to start trusting in us again?
I'm sure that there are many who never really will.
I don't think that even our "best Allie" Israel trusts us much any more - and who can blame them?
If the lamestream pundits, pacifists, "educators" and beltway 5th collumn commiocraps in Washington and all over this Country get their way, the purple-fingered Iraqis and millions of Christians and Jews would soon be filling up new mass grave/dumps in the desert somewhere for their impunity of trusting in America... again.
Given the way that our "leadership" is currently kissing up to the PRC, Mexico, and the Saudis, I'm afraid that well might happen, too.
And God help all of Humanity if it does.
