All this talk about laser pointers. Last summer I was hangin out with some neighbors outside. The neighbors cat was laying on the grass when I noticed a red laser dot on him.
Myself, the neighbor guy, his wife and newborn were right next to this cat with the red dot. We all saw the dot but nobody except me showed any concern.
We were in a place surrounded by trees. The position of the dot on the cat indicated the source could only have come from one direction and I couldn’t see anyone there. After trying to pinpoint the source I looked at the cat and the dot was still there.
The dot was dead still, like the source was on a tripod or something.
Hind sight is 20/20 I know.
I was disturbed later about this, thinking that it could have been more than just a laser pointer. Maybe a laser sight. Would have called the authorities if I knew just six short months ago what I know now!
there are some pretty nice red novelty laser pointers, i think someone was messing with you. I did it to some ppl behind my house in the park once a few years ago when they were rather new and these two newfie guys thought it was a ufo. they were freaking out and i was stifling laughter behind a tree.
Is there any video of any laser activity anywhere? I'm very curious to see one of these green lasers in slow motion somwhere so i have some idea of the intensity. Surely there are cameras in cockpits, and basically all over. Almost everything gets taped these days.
