Notice the original "goddess" (Mary in an attitude of repose and peace, with a classic Grecian/European toga?) was replaced with an Indian/Aztec Mexican SUN GODDESS (wavey sun rays, Indian features and Mexican/Indian robe, Mexican CORN meal and Mexican-style dish instead of American wheat sheaves) with a sophomoric "smiley face" of fifth grade caricature ?

Of course, the original "rainbow" (without the cross and constellation) now becomes a gay symbol and Islamic/Soviet stars!

My understanding is that the original was the Roman goddess "Pomona"...
I guess representing the fruit-growing industry...
