Exactly true - but there is a problem. What the ACLU wants is only one belief to be taught, not both in a side-by-side nature. And for public institutions, that means my tax dollars go to pay for that one prescribed belief.

You need to learn to differentiate between religious viewpoints and scientific theories. One is supported by faith alone. The other is supported by evidence, logic, other science, and the scientific method.

The theory of evolution is not a "belief". It is a scientific theory. I do not believe in evolution. However, I do accept the preponderance of evidence supporting the theory of evolution.
