Thank you for actually admitting what the true goal of the "creationism in the schools" crowd really is.
However, as a parent myself of a child who will be starting school in a few years, I would respectfully ask that you leave his religious instruction to ME, and not the government.

How DARE you demand your rights?
Yeah, the public schools are the perfect place to send your kid if you want him to only be taught the facts, untainted by any belief system or ideology.
If you don't believe me, just ask the "Reverend" Barry Lynn.
And how different is this when a kid being taught evolution in school has been spurned on to read something related to the topic? It sounded like it was just a simple matter of fact statement - get taught something about ID and read a Book that says 'In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth'. You make it sound like there is an agenda there - care to flesh that one out a bit more? What are you afraid of?

Absolutely agreed - and since evolution is something that also must be accepted totally on faith, can you leave my children's religious training to ME - and stop asking me to pay for YOUR children's religious instruction through tax dollars supporting public education?

Then you should not let them attend public schools, or your child will be instructed in the religion of secular humanism. I don't see how this myth that religion and philosophy can be divorced from other parts of thinking arose, but it's quite incorrect.
