Laura Bush is getting another Oscar.
Designer Oscar de la Renta, who outfitted the First Lady for her big nights at the Republican convention and the Kennedy Center Honors, will dress her for the inauguration.
Her office confirms the incredibly important news that the gown will be ice blue.
Meanwhile, daughters Jenna and Barbara have chosen the younger, edgier design team of Badgely Mischka.
"They want slinky and sexy," a spy tells us. "The dresses are going to be figure-hugging with slits and sequins and decolletage."

I realize the way things have been warped, it's now considered "manly" to gawk at Girls Gone Wild like fags at Oz on dance night or some Fire Island bash but it's Self-Control that is the truly manly and irresistible quality.
Personally, I find the whole porn scene quite gay. I realize that's a mindbender for most "redblooded males" but having been immersed in the gay culture as long as I have been, some things are patently obvious to me. It's like watching all the young boys from Flyover Country showing up to tour the Quarter with their parents wearing the hairstyles all the fashion queens were wearing five years ago. Same with chicks wearing nightie tops in public lately. That was old five years ago.
Bottom line ... I see nothing strong or powerful or particularly "manly" about a guy who's putty in the hands of any chick wearing a thong ... letting it all hang out (a la Rosa above) or going the more pedestrian route which is wearing cheap, unlined garmets through which everyone can inspect whatever tired underwear you've been sitting on all day long.
It strikes me as juvenile at best, and gay at worst. Face it, one reason homosexuals are so intent on overturning the "Don't Ask Don't Tell" policy is because indeed they are seeking respect for the fact they define themselves PRIMARILY by their aberrant sexuality.
Hetero men who do the same are kinda gay, IMHO, for that very reason. If you've got to broadcast it, chances are there's no point in tuning in at all.

Fair enough. I think she'd be better off in something with a little more oomph than dove grey, though.

Well, no, not really. I mean I am not immersed in the gay community; I don't study them and I am not attracted to them and I CERTAINLY am not "LOOKING" for them.
