It is not a Temple or any other structure that assures God's blessing and protection. It is meeting the condition of God's blessing. When God chose the Hebrew people He made it clear they were chosen TO bring God to all the other peoples of the world. The Hebrew [Jewish] people have always refused to bring God to other people. They have never made any effort to bring God to others. How different their history would have been if they had. I have many close Jewish friends and it is apparent that Jews just do get it, they have no desire to bring G-d to anyone.

This same blessing applies to Christians through Christ under the NT covenant. While Christians have been much more evangelistic, it is actually only a small percentage of the church that is involved in evangelism.

This is not rocket science nor in any way anti-semitic, it is biblcal. I understand G-d's love of Jewish people, I love them too - but it is just like they are blind to why they are missing all G-d has for them.

Maybe that is true in the 20th Century, but if it wasn't for the JEWS that followed Jesus we would be a very lost bunch of folks.....
