I asked for a source or authority (in the sense of a written work). You didn't supply any.
What you posted was a complaint about the Pope mucking up the process and complaining about the guiys in the hierarchy.
The guys in the hierarchy are irrelevant to my question. They're not the ones who canonize someone, and it's my understanding that therefore their fact-finding or decisions or conclusions are separate from the Pope's and their fact-finding, etc., are likely not protected by the Holy Ghost.
I'll ask again: what writings argue that the Pope's decision is not so protected?
