I think the Katy Anchor story is just a planted rumor to perk up the public's interest in who the next anchor will be. They certainly are not stupid enough to hire her for the nightly news, are they?

CBS has been under public pressure, from their own lefty buddies of course, to hire a woman. They will get what they deserve if they hire Katie. And maybe the Today Show will be worth watching again if she leaves.

This would be just tooooooo rich.
She would be more scorched than dan rather was.
I do believe this would be an effort to bring in the conservative viewers to see what leftist bias she would spin.

Fox News with Ann Coulter
would beat any Katie Koran show

It sounds like the station is doing everything possible to secure the numb skull and functionally illiterate audience. The only, and I mean the ONLY people I know who watch her are my mother's stone deaf, retired and brain dead friends from her old days at work. The same group who have have their driver's licenses taken away from them and are so stoopid that they cannot address an envelope properly or take care of their own insurance or personal affairs without assistance. Real half-witted group and all dumb as dirt ... all liberals of course. They are who I always picture to myself when I think of who in world would support Kerry or watch the alphabet news.

I've met a coupe of goof balls that just "shut down" to watch Kattie Colic and TODAY. I wouldn't be surprised if NBC threw in a few show business gimmick's and put her on the evening news resulting in half a nation "spellbound".

I don't know...it might be fun to watch Katie don her funeral garb and tear up on TV everytime a Republican wins office.

They're worried about their downward spiral into oblivion.
Katie or Connie Chung would increase the speed of that process, which is fine with me.

Really? Rather than some ditz-head what they need is a crusty old newspaper man with ink on his fingers, who will smoke a cigar on camera and tell it like it is. I nominate Christopher Hitchens.
Here he is with ink on his fingers, a cigarette in his mouth, and a whiskey in front of him.
