right question but it was addressed to the wrong person...
we have what is called a "chain of command" in the armed services and the Spec should have addressed his concerns to his C.O.
We all know that Rummy was "sandbagged" by the "reporter"
Only problem is that the MSM did not "report" the entire answer by Rummy...
and the "hate Rummy" crowd and the MSM jumped on the partially reported response like a drunken sailor on liberty!
No one who has ever been in combat has ever had EVERYTHING they needed...
And until these wannabe "generals" in the Senate and "talking heads" on the boob tube and in the papers lace up a pair of combat boots, I reeeeely could care less what their "opinions" are.
The American armed forces have liberated over 50 million people in three years and with about 1000 K.I.A.'s.
Now we mourn the loss of every one of them but to have that few of casualties in three years borders on a miracle.
Especially when you compare the mortality percentage to previous wars and conflicts in American history.
