I haven't done anything to "let on to them" that I've grown distrustful, but I'm keeping notes with regard to suspicious behavior.

Don't count on that. Your response sounds like a female voice on the answering machine saying "WE'RE not home right now..."

Point taken. Well, I comport myself the same as always, as far as I can tell. We still engage in innocuous smalltalk and include these guys with any and all business discussions in which they should be involved.

I guess that I'm trying to follow in the footsteps of actor James Woods by remaining vigilant and helpful while at the same time not being a bothersome jerk.
