If abortion is a form of domestic violence (and I don't know why it wouldn't be considered so) then women win this contest of who is the most violent of the sexes. It's no contest.

I don't know wheather they considered that or not, but I notice they do include "throwing things".

It has been my observation that generally, women do like to throw/break things when they're really mad. Some even go so far as to buy other people's old dishes at garage sales, and keep them on the shelf just to throw. It seems to be some kind of catharsis.

These are facts that any Street cop in any City will tell you, if he is honest.

The survey consists of telephone interviews with a nationally representative sample of 8,000 U.S. women and 8,000 U.S. men about their experiences with intimate partner violence.

Not quite. Although this survey is advertised as "nationally representative," the study had actually very a shoddy sampling method, resulting in a very poor response rate of 56% (64% for women and only 52% for men). [Source: TJADEN, P. & THOENNES, N. (2000a) “Prevalence and Consequences of Male -to-Female and Female-to-Male Intimate Partner Violence as Measured by the National Violence Against Women Survey”, Violence Against Women, 6(2):142-161.]

Thus the survey's numbers only provide a rough estimate of prevelance of victimization, not a precise one.

Yup

The man(?) pictured with Liza in the photo charged her with abuse not long ago.

Some broads, when strung out on pills, booze and / or hormones can get quite violent.

No, this thread does not include bisexual women. I have found no stat's on them...as of yet.

I agree with your statements. However, I view that a man hitting a woman is no different from a woman hitting a man. The act is the same. Violence is violence, period.

Corlorde, your Bureau of Justice stats include domestic and non-domestic violence. Don't mix domestic and non-domestic violence stats together. That gives a false picture. Separate the two. When you do, you will see that men are more violent to women non-domestically and women are more violent than men, domestically.

This thread is concerned with domestic violence, not non-domestic violence and domestic violence stats mixed together. Corlorde, your post is concerned with the totality of violence directed against women and men.

Yes, there are more acts of violence directed against women in non-domestic settings, but domestically speaking, my thread shows ample proof that women are far more violent than men in domestic settings.

In domestic settings, female on female violence is the highest followed by female on male violence, then male on male violence and finally male on female violence.

Corlordes stats are drawn from the Bureau of Justice stat's, which are drawn primarily from police records. Men are far less likely to report domestic abuse than women are. That is why you need studies where men can talk about how women are violent against them within the home and have confidentiality involved. Studies which I presented have confidentiality within them and still let the numbers be shown.

There is a stigma within our society applied to men that are hit by their wives, so many men are reluctant to discuss what happens to them within the home, sadly.

Men are taught not to hit back, and at the same time are far more likely to not call the police when hit within the home.

Misleading? No the title is NOT misleading. Women are more violent than men domestically. Men are more violent than women non-domestically. Studies show this.

The problem is, is that you present misleading statistics on here which are a mix of domestic and non-domestic violence. My thread stat's were concerned with domestic violence only.
