Yes, Moose is much more comfortable being a steady contributor rather than the main man. And, yes, he did suffer for it last year. I look for him to have a real good 2005.

Giambi is toast. I believe that Bonds will be able to handle the intense booing that he'll get on the road - jerks are usually impervious to it - but it will eat Giambi alive. He might want to consider Japan.

Concur. Giambi is not cut out to play the bad guy. Steroids aside, it seems as if players with his build, from Jimmy Foxx to Ted Kluszewski to Boog Powell to Greg Luzinski, have relatively short shelf-lives. Of course, he has no incentive to accept a buyout from the Yankees -- what could be better than what he has? I could see the Yanks picking up most of Kevin Brown's salary just to have someone else take him. I don't see how he could show his face again in New York after the post-season meltdown.
