I gotta blame our ancestors on this one. If they hadn't moved to northern Europe my skin wouldn't be pale white. If I lived in SoCal, or Florida I'd be permanently sunburned, and die from skin cancer. There's a reason why all the Irish live in Boston and Chicago.
