Funny, no one ever questioned my taping the Christmas Pageant at my daughter's Grammar School.
No secret agenda or indoctrination presenting a Christmas pageant, so what is there to hide? Exactly.

I was thinking the same. I've always taken pictures when I've gone on school field trips with my kids.
This is a great point. I wonder if we could find out if there are events that are permitted to be taped at that school and others that are not?
Also - in the denomination I use to belong to, the United Church of CHrist, I once video taped a public meeting open to anyone who would attend and there were homosexuals telling why they ought to be permitted to be counsellors at camp and ordained. I was told to turn over the tape or else...
Hmmm... That is funny, isn't it?

hope the ACLU doesn't get a hold of your tape to prove that
the school is forcing Christ upon us all! (sarcasm)
The fact that the administrator refused to allow videotaping proves she knew the school was engaging in wrongful activity. The the administrator demands forfieture of personal property. It only confirms the administrator could only do these sorts of things under cover of darkness and keeping the parents out of the loop. This is the design of the school representatives. This is not accidental or an oversight.
In Newton schools the Christmas Pageant would be considered a hate crime.
