Saudi converts to Christianity are normally executed for blasphemy.

Saudi Arabia has "freedom of religion" by their lights, because non-muslims are allowed into the kingdom. Someone who has never believed in Mohammed is not guilty of anything under the law. They are not allowed to publicly practice any other religion, mind you, but they are allowed to live.

A muslim who converts, on the other hand, someone who once acknowledged Mohammed and now rejects him, is guilty of blasphemy. Blasphemy is punishable by death.

The catch is that if you repent, you go free. If you refuse to acknowledge Mohammed, you die.

Executions for "blasphemy" are very common in Saudi Arabia. That tells me that there are Saudis converting to Christianity there on a regular basis. Who else would refuse to repent of "blasphemy" when facing the swordsman?
