It wasn't always like this. The purpose of this website is sound, and I hope it one day regains its original focus found here
Maybe you live with perfect people and are just pointing out our failure to live up to your god-like expectations.
It isn't a god like expectation to treat others the way you expect to be treated. In fact its basic decency.
It's a FREE COUNTRY
That's funny.
Here's another excerpt from JR's mission statement which starts on the homepage of FR:
"As a conservative site, Free Republic is pro-God, pro-life, pro-family, pro-Constitution, pro-Bill of Rights, pro-gun, pro-limited government, pro-private property rights, pro-limited taxes, pro-capitalism, pro-national defense, pro-freedom, and-pro America. We oppose all forms of liberalism, socialism, fascism, pacifism, totalitarianism, anarchism, government enforced atheism, abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, racism, wacko environmentalism, judicial activism, etc..."
