Chevy Chase's Attack on Bush Shocks Liberals
NewsMax ^ | Dec 16, 2004 | Limbacher

Hollywood has-been Chevy Chase needs a boost for his lagging career, so to get some much-needed publicity he's launching another attack on our president.

"Even certified Hollywood liberals were reeling after Chevy Chase's potty-mouthed Bush-bashing Tuesday night at the Kennedy Center," the Washington Post reported today.

After fellow travelers Alec Baldwin and Susan Sarandon accepted some cheesy little awards from the hate group that calls itself People for the American Way, Chase, PAW's master of ceremonies, "took the stage a final time and unleashed a rant against President Bush that stunned the crowd. He deployed the four-letter word that got Vice President Cheney in hot water, using it as a noun. Chase called the prez a 'dumb [expletive].' He also used it as an adjective, assuring the audience, 'I'm no [expletive] clown either. ... This guy started a jihad,'" the Post revealed.

Chase raged, "This guy in office is an uneducated, real lying schmuck ... and we still couldn't beat him with a bore like Kerry."

PAW's president, Ralph Neas, clucked: "Chevy Chase's improvised remarks caught everyone off guard, and were inappropriate and offensive. It was not what I would have said, and certainly not the language People for the American Way would ever use in discussing any president of the United States."

PAW's founder, Norman Lear, who still hasn't kept the promise he made to the Wall Street Journal to move to New Zealand, said: "I thought it was utterly untoward, obviously unexpected and unscripted and all that stuff. And, uh - it was Chevy Chase. He'll live with it. I won't."

P.S.: Democrat soon-to-ex-senator Tom Daschle, the Post tattled, "looked taken aback when he went on directly after Chase."

Daschle's opening line: "I've had to follow a lot of speakers, but ...."

Chevy, please keep up the hateful ranting. Republicans need your help to win more elections.

It aint coming off of my list, hes an idiot, but thats some funny stuff. While the tape is playing, I have to declare the family room a "No Milk Drinking Zone":o)

That is, perhaps, the last time Chevy Chase was funny...

O.K., and the contributions for the betterment of the world from Mr. Chase are what? How many children has he freed from prison? How many women have the right to work, go to school and vote because of the actions of anyone in Hollywood?

That's what I thought.

You're right - the President went to Yale and Harvard. Give me a break. Where did Chevy get "educated?"

It's really too bad about Chevy. He was pretty damn funny in the mid to late 70s/early 80s on SNL and in flicks like "Foul Play," "Seems like Old Times," "Caddyshack," "Vacation," and "Spies Like Us."

Daschle's opening line: "I've had to follow a lot of speakers, but ...."

If he had any class, the current Minority Leader of the United States Senate wouldn't have "followed" him. He would have walked out in protest. Oh, wait a minute, this is Tom Daschle we are talking about here. Sorry.

They're outraged that they were caught again spewing their hate out in the open.

Oh, I'll agree with that!

It appears that Chevy can't spell his name either. I'd like to find his checkbook. It would be so easy to forge that signature.

Hi my name is El E27.

So, he graduated from college but evidently didn't have too many brains and obviously no common sense. And he's just another rich kid that his side always accuses us of. Another aging loser. Thanks for the info.

Oh, and I suppose we are to think Chase is brilliant.

Any fool would know you do not publicly slander a President of the U.S. who won 60+ million votes and won the election without doubt and with more votes than any other candidate.

And just who is stupid here?

Chase has just now been added to my boycott list as he probably has by at least 5 million others.

What a brilliant guy to claim a man who served as Governor of Texas for 2 terms and as President of the United States for 2 terms is ignorant. Just who does he think chooses to vote for idiots?

Maybe he needs to get over his drugs, his fantasy world and wake up and see who the people in America are. After all - those dummies who elected George Bush are the fans he wishes to be adolized by.

What a scumbag - hope he feels better now. Another thing -
I have always been told that those that don't have a good education or vocabulary, always reach for the "f" word to cover up their ability to voice their opinions. Proves true in this case.

Chase usually plays an idiot in his movies so apparently he doesn't have to act in these parts.

This idiot is a terrible actor. He's pure plastic with zero range of emotions. The only reason he made several movies was because he capitalized on his SNL fame (and, SNL wasn't even about him; the star was Belushi).

He's a zero. He's less than zero. He's a peeled zero.

I believe a Chevy Chase is a car made by Mazda that they sold to Chevy for retail distribution.

I definitely avoid them. The one person I hated to see bash Bush was Willie Nelson. I thought Willie had a little more sense than that.
Willie has lost me, and no telling how many others, as fans.

Once upon a time the Libs thought having the MSM and Hollywood in their pocket was a hugfe asset. Now they're beginning to realize just what a liability both are; and they cannot simply jettison either from their orbit.

I googled "chevy chase education". didn't look far enough to find out what kind of education he has. Did find the following:

NEW YORK and CHICAGO, September 29, 2004 - The Advertising Council, in partnership with National PTA (Parent Teacher Association), announced today the launch of new public service advertisements.....

The English-language television PSAs, directed by actor James Woods, feature various celebrities including actors Chevy Chase and Lou Diamond Phillips......"

-------

James Woods was on a plane with the hijackers 1 or 2 weeks before 9/11. The ones who REALLY brought the jihad to America. I wonder how Woods and Chevy got along?

"Chevy drives into Woods; ends up dented and mangled."
